We first met Joe in the spring of 2007. At the time we were just beginning our search for a house. We hadn’t expected that our search would go on for three years, and we never felt Joe’s commitment to us waver with the mounting of time. In fact, his patience with us was a relief. He knew we were serious, but, at that time, both the market and our lives were changing. Still, Joe kept watching the market for us, keeping us posted on any new changes and on new houses that fit our needs and tastes. The main thing is that Joe listened to us, even when we changed our minds (which happened several times over the three-year span).
When the time came to make an offer, Joe’s guidance and advice, in everything from amount to contingencies, was equally thorough. Purchasing a house, a first for one of us, raises anxiety and doubt in buyers. Joe’s knowledge and experience had a calming effect on us, and we built a comfortable, trusting relationship with him during this normally frenetic process. He kept us focused on the aspects most important to us and steered us clear of minor distractions that would only confuse us in the end.
In closing, we have already recommended Joe Breckner to family and friends. We hope this letter serves the same purpose for you.
