At this point, we have known Joe Breckner for nearly twenty years, after having been referred to him by a friend. During this time, Joe has remained a constant and trusted presence through several real estate milestones, guiding us through the process of buying a new home, renting our beloved first home in Sherman Oaks, and, most recently, selling that home to new owners who we hope will be as happy in it as we were. From our first meeting in 2007, we’ve felt comfortable with Joe, trusting his judgment and his experience. In large part, this trust is a result of Joe’s clear, direct communication, a quality that can be rare with real agents who often are more focused on the task at hand than the clients that task is meant to serve. Joe listened to our needs and concerns, then supported his recommendations with meaningful points that highlighted both sides of the issue. And while there were times when we initially resisted his advice, in the end, his calm reasoning made far more sense than our anxiety-charged reactions. Joe’s attention to detail put us at ease. He made sure we knew the required steps ahead and how to approach them. His guidance made even the last-minute demands for information at closing more manageable because he’d prepared us for them ahead of time. Though our real estate pursuits may be over now, we continue to recommend Joe Breckner to family and friends, as our friend did for us long ago.
